TCS is launching a new offering called an online micro-degree. Students will now be able to appear for a certification test on a specified date to get an online micro-degree from TCS Ignite.
We have scheduled our first certification drive on May 27th for the Software Engineering Industrial Practice micro-degree. The test will be held in several centers across the country.
It will be of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) format and will cover Computer Science basics, communication skills and industry awareness.
The certification fees very nominal - Rs. 399/- only.
Being India's first industry-sponsored certification for science students, it will be a very valuable addition to their professional portfolio particularly in the starting stages of your career.
From our side, we are happy to announce that certified candidates will receive a direct invite to the next TCS Ignite hiring drive.
For candidates who already have offers from TCS and are waiting to join, the certification assessment will serve as a valuable diagnostic of their training needs.
