Communication received from Infosys about Winter Internship(Industrial Training). Last chance of giving consent upto 9:00 AM on 11-01-11

To further the same, and to strengthen the Infosys – academia partnership, we present an opportunity to your students, who will be selected by Infosys through campus placements, to spend their final semester with us at our world-class campus in Mysore.

During this length of time they will undertake a mandatory project ;that is a part of their curriculum , and also undergo our comprehensive entry level training. The students will not only get a chance to be mentored by our Project Managers on project work but will also be groomed into individuals who are ready, to take up the challenges of the professional world.

Duration of  the Program

The program will be scheduled from January/ February 2011 to  May/ June 2011 at Infosys Mysore or any of the Infosys Development Centers . We will provide accommodation, a monthly stipend and food coupons to the interns for the duration of the internship. They will also be extended certain other benefits like personal accident insurance etc.

Students from CS/IT/IC/ICT  branches will undergo 6 weeks of Training and  10 weeks of IT related Project work whereas those from ECE, Electronics, Telecommunication, and  Instrumentation students will undergo 10 weeks of Training and 10 weeks of IT related Project work.


Prerequisites

·         This program is open only for those students that have been selected by Infosys through
campus recruitment
·         Students should be in their final year of studies and must have a mandatory project work component in the final semester
·         Students will have to arrange  for their  travel to our campus and back to the college/ hometown upon completion of this program
·         This is a residential program and requires the intern to be present on our campus premises throughout the program
