Aegis Graham Bell Scholarship 2012

Aegis School of Business and Telecom has established Aegis Graham Bell Award and scholarships as a tribute to father of the telephony, Sir Alexander Graham Bell. This Award is intended to promote innovation, entrepreneurship in field of Time (Telecom, Internet, Media & Edutainment) and to provide recognition for outstanding contributions in this field.
The scholarship test will be conducted across the country in cities to identify the talented students who can contribute in the field of Time (Telecom, Internet, Media & Edutainment) through their innovative ideas or competency to convert an idea into a reality. Final winners will be awarded with the Aegis Graham Bell scholarship and honored with a memento in a grand award ceremony.

·         Aegis Graham Bell Scholar   (for students  having academic excellence)

·         Aegis Graham Bell Scholar   (for students for innovative Ideas)

·         Mobile App by students

What Aegis Graham Bell Scholarship recipients will get:

·         Certificate of Aegis Graham Bell Scholar

·         Option to study Masters Program in Telecom Management (MPTM) with full scholarship worth INR 450,000

·         Aegis Graham Bell Scholar memento in a grand award ceremony

Eligibility:

·         Bachelors and Masters degree holders of 2009, 2010 and 2011 batches

·         Minimum score of 70% or 8.0 CGPA in BS, BE/BTech, MCA, MTech, MSc and MS.

Selection: 
The Selection Committee comprises of eminent leaders from industry and academia under the guidance of Mr. V.P. Chandan, Director - Aegis School, Director - Punjab Communications and former President of Qualcomm India.
The scholarship test will be conducted across the country in major cities in India: Chandigarh, Delhi, Jaipur, Allahabad, Kolkata, Bhubaneswar, Nagpur, Bhopal, Ahmadabad, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Pune and Mumbai.

Selection Process

·         Application: Download the Aegis Graham Bell Scholarship application form in word format, fill it up and email it back to us along with the scanned copies of other documents at scholarship@aegis.edu.in or send it by post. Candidates can bring the recommendation letters at the time of interview and test.

·         Basic Aptitude Test for Employability (BATE) by TrackExcel (Formerly G4testing this company conducts and designs campus recruitment test for Capgemini, Hexaware, TCS etc)

* Candidates who have any one of the following test scores need not appear for the aptitude test. -  GMAT (Min 600), GRE (min 1000) and CAT (Min 85) (Aegis official ETS code is 5730)
